Following a major update to SignalScope X, which brought MultiTool access to all Tool Set license tiers, SoundMeter X version 13 also shares internal perpetual license purchase options in addition to the look and feel of Liquid Glass on iOS 26. SoundMeter 12.5 includes updated app for Apple Watch

With the release of SoundMeter X and SoundMeter Pro 2022, version 12.5, SoundMeter’s companion app for Apple Watch has been completely re-written for better performance and improved support for newer versions of watchOS. In addition to sporting modernized software code, the SoundMeter watch app includes an interface for the Max Levels tool and adds max and peak levels to the sound level meter display. It should be noted that the SoundMeter watch app serves as a remote control for the corresponding app running on the iPhone–it doesn’t analyze or process any signals coming directly from the watch’s built-in microphone.
