Comfort standards
I think the high pass filter build-in Apple's hardware is the key.
But the high pass filter should not affect A-weighting measure, so SoundMeter should can comfort partly IEC standards. Maybe all measure with A-weighting can comfort ANSI or IEC standards.
If the answer is active, I thinks it also is good news for someone. :-)
