IR Data Source
IR data can be loaded into the Room Analyzer tool either from the current Dual FFT or Oscope
measurement, as displayed in the associated tab, or from an audio file (AIF, CAF, or WAV). The
Room Analyzer supports audio file data with a sample rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, and 192
kHz.
File
This row is only displayed in the menu if File is currently selected as the IR Data Source. Tap
this item to select from all audio or data files that are currently available within SignalScope
X. Tapping on a file in the list will present a screen that enables the file to be loaded,
previewed, or opened in another app. Files can be stored in SignalScope from the 1Ch or Dual
FFT tabs, opened in SignalScope from other apps, or added via the iTunes File Sharing screen.
Channel
If a loaded file contains more than one channel of IR data, or if the current Dual FFT or Oscope data
includes more than one channel, this item enables you to select which channel
the IR should be loaded from. In that case, tap this item to bring up a list of available
channels.
