Sound Level Meter
Measure calibrated sound levels according to standard methods with the Sound Level Meter
(a calibrated measurement microphone is required to make repeatable and accurate measurements). The SLM's
Calibration controls make it easy to perform individual channel calibration.
- Sound Levels: Lp, Leq, Lx (percentile-exceeded level)
- Frequency Weighting: Flat, A, C
- Time Weighting: Fast, Slow, Impulse
- Percentile: Integer values may be specified between 0 and 100
- Data Export: Tab-delimited text (.txt) or MAT-file (.mat)
- Time Data Capture: AIFF or WAV file, 16 or 24-bit
- Level History Capture: Tab-delimited text file
- When the selected input channel is set for units other than pascals, the SLM tool measures rms signal levels.
